The National Pilot Tree Crop & Rice Farmer Registration aimed to create a reliable and up-to-date database of tree crop (cocoa, coffee, cashew) and rice farmers in six pilot districts in Sierra Leone: Kambia, Bonthe, Pujehun, Kailahun, Kenema, and Kono. This database was developed to inform decision-making and enhance support provided to farmers, such as technical advice, inputs, and other interventions that improve farm productivity.
The project was funded by the European Union (EU) through its Boosting Agriculture & Food Security (BAFS) Project, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry (MAF). Implementation was carried out by Conflict Management & Development Associates (CMDA-SL).
