CMDA-SL Staff Retreat: Reflecting on Achievements and Inspiring Growth.

On December 14, 2024, CMDA-SL successfully hosted a staff retreat, bringing together Board Members, Associates, and staff. The retreat provided an opportunity to reflect on achievements, address challenges, and highlight our commitment to capacity building.

The event commenced with a keynote address from Dr. Fred Hassan Konteh, Executive Chairman, who recounted CMDA’s journey from its humble beginnings to its current status. He encouraged staff to embrace growth, take on leadership roles, and carry forward the organization’s vision. Director Abdulai Jalloh followed with an inspiring speech, commending the team for their dedication and reaffirming CMDA’s commitment to supporting staff development.

A memorable highlight was a touching poem authored by esteemed Associates Member, Mr. Chernor M. Jalloh, and read aloud by his son, Umaru Jalloh. The poem beautifully captured CMDA’s spirit and mission, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.

Guests provided valuable feedback and pledged to strengthen partnerships to enhance CMDA’s impact. Collaborative discussions during the retreat shaped the organization’s path forward for 2025 and beyond.

The day concluded with photos, refreshments, and a renewed sense of purpose and unity. CMDA-SL looks forward to building on the momentum generated by this meaningful retreat.
